Local-First Knowledge Base

SynthIQ WiKi

PRIVATE BUILD

Android personal knowledge base built around portable Markdown files, wiki-style links, backlinks, full-text search, hashtags, daily notes, orphan views, autocomplete, and an interactive graph.

Used for

Building a linked second brain where notes can reference one another, remain searchable, and still exist as ordinary Markdown files outside the app.

Why it matters

It combines portable source files with a fast local index, so knowledge stays connected without being locked inside a proprietary database format.

Markdown Notes

SynthIQ Notes

PRIVATE BUILD

Focused Android Markdown note-taking app for straightforward text capture inside the SynthIQ productivity family.

Used for

Writing and keeping simple Markdown notes without the graph, linking, or knowledge-base overhead of SynthIQ WiKi.

Why it matters

Not every thought needs a knowledge graph. A lightweight note surface keeps quick capture fast and uncomplicated.

No-Code Website Builder

SynthIQ BuildEasy

PRIVATE TOOL

Drag-and-drop website builder for non-coders with local browser storage, multi-page editing, reusable content blocks, responsive output, and export to plain HTML/CSS ZIP files.

Used for

Creating family, community, personal, or small-business websites visually, then exporting files that can be hosted on ordinary static hosting.

Why it matters

It gives non-coders ownership of real deployable website files instead of locking the finished site inside the builder or a required backend service.

About SynthIQ

SynthIQ is a growing ecosystem of practical apps, experiments, media experiences, and development tools created by Ferdinand Degracia using AI Assisted Engineering.

For the brand, SYNTHIQ represents synthetic intelligence — a name built from the ideas of synthesis and intelligence.

Synth

Short for synthetic or synthesis: human-made, artificial, or created by combining parts into something new.

IQ

Short for intelligence quotient, commonly associated with intelligence, reasoning, and mental capability.

Combined

SYNTHIQ expresses machine-made or artificial intelligence — and, for this project, the meeting point of AI, creativity, software, and music.

Developer disclaimer.
Disclaimer: I’m not a developer. I’m just a curious human being with Wi-Fi, questionable confidence, and an alarming willingness to click ‘try this.’

Somehow, that combination turned into SYNTHIQ. There were bugs, questionable decisions, fixes that created new bugs, and many moments of “wait… that actually worked.” The project keeps moving because experimenting is half the fun.

It did not begin with a boardroom, a twelve-slide vision deck, or somebody saying “synergy” with a straight face. It began the more useful way: with ideas, real problems to solve, curiosity, and the increasingly dangerous question, “Can AI help me build this?”

What started as individual experiments around music, web experiences, Android apps, utilities, camera monitoring, productivity, and no-code tooling gradually became a connected family of projects. Shared ideas, interfaces, deployment patterns, data, and lessons started crossing from one project into another. That family became SynthIQ.

AI Assisted Engineering is the working method: Ferdinand sets the product direction, requirements, behavior, testing goals, integrations, and final decisions while AI accelerates research, prototyping, coding, debugging, documentation, and iteration. The objective is not to pretend the AI never existed. The objective is to use it responsibly to turn ideas into working software.

SynthIQ is still evolving. Some projects are public, some are internal, some are APK builds, some are PWAs, and some are experiments that survived long enough to earn a name. The ecosystem is less “finished corporate product suite” and more “working laboratory with surprisingly decent uptime.”

ANDROID / APKWEB / PWAAI-ASSISTED PROTOTYPESEXISTING APP IMPROVEMENTINTERNAL TOOLSUI / UX ITERATION

Keep it simple.

You do not need a 47-page specification. A clear problem, a target user, and a willingness to answer “what should this button actually do?” is enough to start.

iPhone / iPad PWA: Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen. Useful, app-like, and still a PWA—not a native App Store build wearing sunglasses.
Current hiring protocol: serious inquiries welcome. “Can you make Facebook but better by Friday?” remains with the Department of Miracles.
